Our Story
Busy Bee Child Development and Learning Center began with a vision - to create a thoughtfully designed preschool where children are truly known, valued, and guided with intention.
In 2022, we proudly purchased the center with a commitment to reimagine what early childhood education could be. Over the course of six transformative weeks, the school was completely renovated to reflect a higher standard of learning - one that blends warmth, structure, and academic purpose within a beautiful and nurturing environment.
In August 2022, Busy Bee officially opened its doors under new ownership, marking the beginning of a new chapter rooted in excellence.
Today, we are honored to be celebrating our fourth school year- our third year as a Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program. What began as a dream has grown into a thriving school community, built on strong relationships, dedicated educators, and a shared commitment to each child's success.
At Busy Bee, our story is still being written each day - in the laughter of our classrooms, the confidence of our learners, and the tryst of the families we serve. We are proud of how far we have come, and even more inspired by what lies ahead.
Meet Our Staff
Mrs. Hannah
Busy Bee Child Development and Learning Center is proudly owned and led by Hannah Begley, a busy mom of three whose passion for early childhood education is rooted in both experience and heart.
Before stepping into the world of early education, Hannah built her background in pediatrics, where she gained a deep understanding of children’s health, development, and care. After becoming a mother, her path shifted in a meaningful way—leading her to open and run her own in-home childcare program for over 10 years. During that time, she created a nurturing, family-like environment where children were truly known and cared for, and where strong, lasting relationships with families were built.
In 2022, Hannah followed her vision of expanding that same level of care and connection by purchasing Busy Bee Child Development and Learning Center. With thoughtful renovations and a clear purpose, she transformed the school into a warm, welcoming, and academically focused environment where children can grow with confidence.
As both an owner and a mom, Hannah understands how important it is to find a place you trust. Her goal is simple—to create a school that feels like an extension of home, where children are supported, families are valued, and every child is given the opportunity to thrive.
Mrs. Erica
Mrs. Erica serves as both the Director and VPK teacher at Busy Bee Child Development and Learning Center, bringing over 20 years of experience in education to our school community. Her depth of knowledge, strong leadership, and genuine love for children are evident in everything she does.
In the classroom, Mrs. Erica is passionate about guiding VPK students through meaningful, structured learning experiences that prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. As Director, she is dedicated to creating a positive, supportive environment for both families and staff, ensuring that every child receives the highest quality care and education.
Her commitment to excellence and her nurturing approach make her an invaluable part of the Busy Bee family.
Miss Ria
Miss Ria is one of our dedicated VPK teachers at Busy Bee Child Development and Learning Center. She brings a warm, nurturing presence to the classroom and has a true passion for working with young learners.
Miss Ria especially loves incorporating arts and crafts into her daily lessons, giving children the opportunity to express their creativity while building important skills. Her classroom is filled with imagination, hands-on learning, and plenty of opportunities for each child to shine.
Miss Ari
Miss Ari is our wonderful Threes class teacher at Busy Bee Child Development and Learning Center. She brings energy, patience, and a nurturing spirit to her classroom, creating a fun and supportive environment for her young learners.
Miss Ari has a passion for hands-on learning and loves engaging her students through interactive activities that encourage exploration and discovery. She believes children learn best by doing, and her classroom is filled with meaningful experiences that help build confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
Ms Morgan
Ms. Morgan is the newest addition to the Busy Bee family and serves as our Twos teacher. As a busy mom herself, she understands the importance of creating a loving, patient, and engaging environment where little ones feel safe and supported.
She brings a fun and energetic spirit to the classroom and especially enjoys singing songs and dancing with the children throughout the day. Her playful approach helps make learning exciting while encouraging confidence, movement, and social development.
